Church shut-in's are easy to forget because we don't see them every week. We are so busy with our own worship experience, that we frequently forget about those members who no longer attend on a regular basis. Obviously, we need to take the time to visit these folks, to let them know that we have not forgotten about them.
An excellent project would be to ask each regular member of the church to sponsor a shut-in, and then assign that shut-in to one of the youth members or deacon. Then, the youth member or deacon would go to the shut-in's house and let them know that they have not been forgotten.
"100 Thinks About You is a way to stay in touch with Senior members who no longer attend on a regular basis."
100 Things About You is a FREE SERVICE that provides a quick and easy way to record 100 unique facts about you (or someone else), and then creates a Character Profile from the responses. This service is built around a Questionnaire that asks 100 questions about you. It only takes about 20 minutes to complete the Questionnaire, and will turn out to be the BEST 20 minutes you ever spent!
There are many different ways that you can use this service, including honoring a special Senior Adult, remembering a lost loved one, and preserving the memories of those individuals who are in the early stages of Alzheimer's and Dementia. 100 Things About You can also be used to raise needed funds for your group or organization.
To get started with the 100 Things About You service, simply complete the Questionnaire. So that you can check it out first, there is no cost in answering the questions. To do so, click on the MENU item at the top of this page labeled THE QUESTIONNAIRE.
