To honor a Senior Adult...
PROBLEM: Too many Senior Adults are unintentionally forgotten by their friends and family, especially those living in long term care facilities.
SOLUTION: Use the FOREVER PICTURE to remind them that they are not forgotten, but instead, are valued members of the family and community. It works, because it includes at least two visits with the Senior Adult, and provides a tangible "leave behind" that will be a constant reminder of those visits.
BACKSTORY: Betty was so honored and thrilled to receive her FOREVER PICTURE from her grandson, Ben. During his visit with her, Betty thought he was just being curious when he asked her some random questions about her life. After Ben had asked all of his questions and recorded all of her answers, he left. Betty began to think about some of the answers she had given him. She remarked that they really did bring up a lot of great memories. Betty's husband, Butch had passed away a few years ago, and she said that those questions really helped her remember many of the good times they had shared. When Ben finally brought over her FOREVER PICTURE, she was so pleased and delighted! It is now displayed on her picture wall, as a reminder of the wonderful time she and her grandson spent together, and how much closer it made them feel!
